The Heart within the Journey
I live in the small town of Franklin, NC located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. I have held a twenty-year career as a graphic designer, primarily in the newspaper industry. As of recently, it is a path I look to continue in freelance design.
Being a designer has never been just a form of income, but a choice that turned into opportunities that I'm truly grateful for!
I wish I could say I know all things design, but I learn something new on a regular basis. It is an exciting and creative challenge that I put my heart into!

Pet Portraits
With my role as a designer being my primary focus, painting has always been more so a hobby of mine... one that I find just as rewarding! The pet portraits I offer are acrylic paintings on approximately 4-5" wood slices. These are created and packaged with quality aesthetics in mind — and make great Christmas presents!
NOTE: The more detailed the photo reference, the more detailed the painting. Closeups work best!

Photography
While I do not currently have the setup to offer professional photography, I do enjoy taking photos (examples in my portfolio and displayed throughout website). It plays a role in my art and design as well as memes I create for social media.
This may be an area I expand on in the near future.
